Keen to learn anatomy using anatomical specimens at the UK's largest medical museum? Hoping to refresh your anatomical knowledge through interactive small group teaching led by anatomy demonstrators, surgeons and anatomy enthusiasts?
Join us on Monday 30th January 2023 for SurgSoc's Annual Anatomy Away Day to the Gordon Museum of Pathology, King's College London - the largest medical museum in the UK!!!
The event will include high-quality, small group teaching covering thousands of unique specimens and models all with their own rich history. From obscure pathologies to rare malformations, you will be guided by experienced anatomy demonstrators, surgeons and senior medical students. We will divide the taught material by anatomical regions to ensure all students have the opportunity to explore every niche of the human body!
The coach will leave the university at 8:00 am to arrive at the Gordon Museum of Pathology at King's College around 11:30 am. Anatomy teaching will take place throughout the day with the opportunity to explore London during the lunch-break around 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Target return time to the university is 8:00 pm.
Prices (inclusive of travel AND teaching): £15 for SurgSoc members l £20 for non-members
