Employability Through Volunteering

Are you an active volunteer? Do you struggle to convey how your volunteering experiences have helped to develop your employability?

All volunteer experiences require you to develop skills that graduate employers are looking for, such as: team working, communication, project management, relationship-building, fundraising, campaigning, writing, problem solving, leadership, public speaking, event management… the list goes on!

Demonstrating that you’ve developed these skills through volunteering will strongly increase your appeal to prospective employers.

Come along to our Volunteer Employability Session on 21st February (4pm) to reflect on your volunteering and discover how best to translate your experiences to your future employers.
