6pm - 7pm

Grindleford - Peak District

Tickets

Hello everyone!

The Birmingham Univeristy Conservation Volunteers (BUCV) are having another residential trip this term, to the Peak District National Park! It's a trip we've done before, and it has always been very enjoyable. Anyone welcome to come along!

We will be spending a weekend in one of the UK’s nicest areas of natural beauty, the Peak District, working with the Peak Park Conservation Volunteers (PPCV) to maintain some flower meadows in the park! On Saturday and Sunday, we will be spending the day out in the Peak District National Park checking out the sites and doing Conservation volunteering with the local rangers and volunteer group.

We will be staying Friday and Saturday night in the PPCV Volunteering Centre ‘Brunts Barn’ in the village of Grindleford, which has fully fitted out kitchen, bathrooms and bunkbeds for the two nights. The accomodation is really nice, and during the evenings, we can explore the village of Grindleford, go for walks or hang out in Brunt's Barn playing cards and such.

We will be travelling by train from University to Grindleford at around 6pm in evening on Friday 3rd March, and returning to University by around 7pm in the evening onSunday 5th March.

A maximum of 11 places are available on this trip, and spaces are limited to first come first serve. Ticket prices are £35, and price includes Accomadation, Travel and Food for both days. Please fill out the questionaire, when prompted, upon buying the event ticket. This will inform us of any dietary, medical or other requirements. All diets can be catered for!

See you soon!
