Sutton Park Conservation Event

Sunday 28 October 2018

9:30am - 3pm

Sutton Park

Tickets

Hi guys!

This Sunday we’re heading over to Sutton Park in the north of Birmingham. We will be felling and coppicing trees to open up an area of parkland to create a wild meadow. We also normally get a lift across the park in the back of a defender which is always fun.

We’ll meet at 9:30am at Mermaids Square at the Guild. To get there we’ll catch the 9:55am train from University for a 10:30am start in Sutton. As always, we cover the price of transport and will buy tickets in advance. If anyone needs to borrow wellies we have plenty to lend out on the day, but please be sure to arrive in plenty of time so we’re not late for the train.

Please wear warm clothing and suitable footwear and bring along a packed lunch. We’ll aim to be back at uni around 3:00pm.

Any questions then message us on the Facebook event, privately or email at BUCV@guild.bham.ac.uk. Find the link below to our facebook event.
