For Go Green Week 2020 we will be hosting a special event with the Community Wardens and the Canal and River Trust in Selly Oak!
We will be working to help clear debris from the water using grappling hooks. This event is usually really fun and there's always some strange things to be pulled out!
We will be meeting at 09:30am at the Guild and then walk over to the canal in Selly Oak. For those that currently live in Selly and don't need to borrow wellies (we have a few we can loan if you need them), we can meet you at 10:00am near the Bristol Road bridge over the canal at the new Unite student accommodation block (B29 6SR). For those that need to borrow footwear but would like to meet us there, then send us a message and we can bring it over with us.
Please wear warm, weather appropriate clothing and bring along a packed lunch. We're not actually going into the canal so sturdy walking boots are fine if you have them.
