1. Grab your Official Freshers Fest ticket

Featuring nights out at some of the best clubs in Birmingham – Freshers Fest is your opportunity to get to know your fellow students and explore your new home city. Your Freshers Fest ticket includes entry to all 9 official events; including the Welcome Party, club nights across Birmingham’s bustling Broad Street and Freshers Ball!

2. Plan out your Welcome Week

There’s so much going on during your first week at university it can be hard to keep up! So, be sure to take a look at all Welcome events on the Guild website - browse through the fairs, club nights, quizzes and everything else taking place and decide what you fancy getting involved with.

3.Get involved with student groups

Make sure you visit the societies fairs during Welcome Week between Wednesday 25th - Friday 27th September. We have over 300 incredible student groups and associations at the Guild, from A Capella to Yoga and everything in between. Finally, don’t forget to get stuck in and enjoy yourself! If we could leave you on any piece of advice, it would be to throw yourself into university life and make the most of your time here.
