Hello UOB Exchange Students!
Our penultimate event is coming up! We will be heading to the beautiful Winterbourne House & Garden on our very own campus to have a lovely picnic in the garden and a wander around. All UOB students get free entry to Winterbourne House & Garden whenever they want, so you must bring your student ID to get in for free!
We will meet at Winterbourne House & Garden at 13:00 on the 2nd of May. UOBEX committee will head there a bit early and find a great spot for a picnic, then send you photos of where we are and/or have one of us at the entrance to greet you and show you where we're located in the garden! Please bring your own lunch! We will be providing a small range of sweet snacks and crisps, but not the full picnic, as it is better allergy-wise and allows for more people to join if we ask you to provide your own food. The event will be a lovely way to chat with your fellow exchange students and relax in the beautiful Winterbourne Garden. Fingers-crossed we will get lovely weather, but if it is terrible, we will likely postpone the event to another day shortly after, so please be aware of this!!
We can't wait to explore the garden with you and catch up over a picnic. The garden contains a myriad of wonderful features, including three greenhouses full of amazing plants, bridges and walkways around the river, and a number of lovely grassy areas to sit and take in the outdoors :)
