We find ourselves in strange and unexpected times.

We’re all quickly adapting to big changes in our lifestyles: how we live, how we learn, how we look after ourselves and how we stay connected to loved ones. It’s easy to feel worried and concerned by the situation. That’s why it’s really important for us all to give each other a much needed boost by recognising and appreciating the small, everyday positives that are helping us get through these self-isolation blues.

So, we bring you our #UOBPositivity campaign, where we’re asking you to share your daily ‘wins’ with us. We want to see how you have been productive with your day, sharing any new hobbies you’ve started and all the things that bring a smile to your face – and of course, lots and lots of cat pictures!

All we’re asking you to do is take a picture of something positive, something you’ve achieved or something that makes you happy, and share it to #UOBPositivity. You can even DM us your picture or email it to: communications@guild.bham.ac.uk

We’ll be sharing a random selection of your pictures and stories to help spread some much needed positivity amongst our UoB community.

To get us started, here’s your International Officer Joanne’s first picture…

Look after yourselves and keep smiling.

Your Guild.
