We're pleased to announce that Robyn Smethurst is our Volunteer of the Month for January!

Robyn is a Committee Member of Animal Welfare Society and has been described as passionate and motivated by her fellow committee members and an asset to the society. When needed, she played a pivotal role in the success of Animal Welfare’s Bottle Tombola at Christmas on Campus which raised £135.50, as well as other fundraising events.

Animal Welfare is a new student group for 2018. They raise money and awareness for animals in need, supporting charities such as Compassion in World Farming. So far, they’ve sent postcards and letters to parliament, hosted guest speakers and raised vital funds for their chosen organisation.

Do you have someone in mind who could be our next volunteer of the month? We’d love to hear from you! Send us their name and a sentence or two describing why they deserve to win to volunteering@guild.bham.ac.uk! The winner will receive a £15 amazon voucher and a certificate for their efforts!
