Voting in the RA elections opens at 10am on Monday 14th November
Voting closes at 4pm on Friday 18th November, so make sure you have your voice heard.
Please note, you will only be able to vote in the election for the Residence where you live.
All elections at the Guild use the Single Transferable Vote. You will be asked to rank the rank the candidates in order of preference. Voting is completed over a number of rounds until a candidate receives 50% of the vote. The candidate that achieves the least votes across each of the rounds is eliminated and their second preferences are distributed amongst the remaining candidates. The winning candidate is the candidate with the most overall support.
HOW TO VOTE
In order to vote, you will need to be logged into the Guild Website via the my.bham portal.
- Go to my.bham and log in using your University details
- Click on the Guild logo in 'Top Picks' - this sends you back to guildofstudents.com logged in
- Return to this page and vote below
