Are you a poet in the making or do you love spoken word? Do you want a space to spend time with your community?

As Halloween approaches, we invite you to gather for Khuluma, a special open mic inspired by storytelling, ancestry and remembrance.

"Khuluma", meaning 'speak' in Zulu, calls us to share the stories we hold close. From folktales passed down through generations to original poetry and personal reflections, this evening celebrates the power of speaking memories into the present.

Whether you're sharing a story, performing a poem, or simply appreciating the voices of others, Khuluma is a space to honour the narratives that continue to shape us.

Come dressed to represent. Come prepared to listen. Show up to speak!
