This activity is a casual social taster designed for interested students who are unsure whether they want to join UoB Valkyrie Gamers' Society yet. It will also be an introductory event for students who are new members to get to know the society and each other.
Anyone can attend, no membership required!
The session will start with the UVG committee members introducing themselves and talking about their roles in turn. Then, the committee will introduce and talk about upcoming events the society is holding or considering. The committee will also introduce the society's new challenge, where attendees will learn about the Player Membership XP cards, on which they can earn XP from in-person events for a chance at winning a prize! New members will be given their ID cards in the event and will get the chance to customise them.
In addition, attendees will get to meet the committee members and ask them question, as well as others of similar interests in gaming, play casual video games and/or physical games provided together, and have snacks!
