We are looking to throw a ball for extreme sports societies as a social to meet people going on our ski trip in easter and to raise some money towards our club.
Venue:
The venue has a welcome bar with a door on the left that leads to the main room in which there is a bar and many seating options with a stage at the far side for a band that will be performing for a section of the evening and an area outside with tables and heaters.
Food:
We will be looking to sell tickets with a food option included in the ticket price, we will offer a reduced menu that the buyers can choose from when they purchase their ticket.
Music:
A band of UoB students will play for 1 hour and a half before a DJ takes over for the rest of the evening.
Accessibility:
The whole venue is on one floor, with minimal stairs required to reach the outside area.
Coordination:
I will be in close contact with the president/social sec from each society that will be attending our event and they will make sure their smaller group finds the venue and is ok throughout the night, further a picture of the event organiser (me) will be sent to all societies and they will be told I am there to help the entire night should they have any issues.
