Join us for a 5K social run around campus and The Vale, starting and finishing outside the School of Computer Science.
The run is approximately 5 kilometres long and should take around 30-35 minutes at a comfortable, conversational pace. This is a social event rather than a race, and the group will be kept together throughout, so all levels of running experience are welcome.
The route follows local pavements and a section of canal towpath, so please wear suitable footwear and clothing for the conditions. We'd also recommend arriving well hydrated, and bringing water with you if you think you may need it during the run.
If you have an injury, medical condition, disability, or any other requirement that could affect your participation, please contact Harry Wake, the event lead in advance by emailing css@society.guild.bham.ac.uk. If you have a medical condition that may require you to carry medication (e.g. an inhaler), please bring it with you and keep it easily accessible during the run.
