Tickets

A train trip to the Wrekin this week. This hike is a well liked among some members of committee and infamous among others. Come along and give it a go!

Tickets will be released on Monday 2nd November at 7pm. If you are unable to get hold of a full ticket, purchase a reserve to be added to the waiting list- we are likely to have places come available on the week of the trip.

A full kit list will be sent out to you by email. You’ll need walking boots, waterproof layers and water bottles to carry 1.5 litres. We’ll also ask you to bring food for lunches.

Thanks,

Wayfarers Committee

When you purchase a ticket to this event, you will not be entitled to a refund under any circumstances unless:

- You inform Wayfarers Hiking Society (the Society) as soon as possible after you realise you can no longer attend.

- You inform the Society at least two days before the event is scheduled to begin. For example:

       - With a standard Friday to Sunday weekend trip, you will need to inform us by 5pm on Wednesday.

       - With a standard Saturday coach trip, you will need to inform us by 5pm on Thursday.

       - With a standard Sunday minibus trip, you will need to inform us by 5pm on Friday.

- You find a suitable replacement member yourself for your ticket.

This allows us to have time to find a replacement for your ticket. In these cases, please inform the Society as soon as possible that you wish to transfer a ticket, upon which we will advise further on what to do. You are otherwise authorised to receive a refund from the Society by the Society’s Committee.

Your statutory rights protect your right to a refund. Where applicable, the Society reserves the right to refuse refund requests. Extenuating circumstances may be considered in addition to the general rules above, e.g. bereavement, emergencies, and unforeseen medical considerations. The Society will endeavour to be understanding and flexible of requests for refunds, but each refunded unfilled space on events costs the Society - and therefore its members - money, therefore not every refund request is guaranteed to be accepted.
