Report ItImmediately

If you’re a victim of crime, or you witness a crime taking place, report it to the Police immediately!

Emergencies: Call 999 for all emergencies.  University Security can also help, especially with anything that happens on campus.  They can get to you quickly on campus and will wait with you if any of the emergency services are needed.  University Security are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be contacted on 0121 414 4444.

Non-emergencies: Non-urgent reports can be made to any Police Station, by calling 101 or online.

Sexual assault/harassment: If you’re a victim of sexual assault or sexual harassment, and don’t want to report it to the Police, then Guild Advice can provide you with the help, advice and guidance you need.  Guild Advice provides provide free, impartial and confidential information and advice, you can contact them through email.

The University is committed to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students and to responding appropriately to any incidents of sexual assault.  The University has introduced an online reporting tool, ‘You Report, We Support’, designed specifically for students.
