We run three different sessions a week, so it's easy to pick and choose the quizzing that suits you.
Fancy testing your quizzing skill against players throughout the country? Come to the Friday Quizbowl Session! This University Challenge-style session provides an opportunity for quizzers of all experience levels to learn the ropes of both Academic and Pop Culture quizzing while competing against universities across the UK. Alongside sending teams to compete across the UK, we also host tournaments here at Birmingham once a term, and are even lucky to have the President of UK student quizzing heading up Quizbowl! There is truly no better place to get into quizzing!
Pub Quiz Master? Or just fancy some entertainment and potentially profit with your pint? Come by to the Bristol Pear, Selly Oak on Monday evenings for some pub quiz action! (and money off your pint with our code)
Or Love a fun social quiz? Come to the Wednesday quiz! Our weekly 'bring-your-own-quiz' night - these sessions are perfect to enjoy a casual, member made PowerPoint-style quiz. Plus occasional special events such as collaborative quizzes or more upbeat quizzes such as a scavenger hunt.
Best of all, all of these sessions are included within your membership! So you can quiz to your hearts content, with the society covering all tournament entry fees for members!
Everyone is welcome to put on their quizzing caps, so come along to any session or click the linktree and join the whatsapp group keep updated, chat with one of the committee, or find out if any special events are happening now! (and if you really enjoy it make sure to buy a membership, it really helps :) ).
We Meet:
Mondays at 8PM for our weekly pub quiz at The Bristol Pear, Selly Oak
Wednesdays at 6PM for fun, social quizzes of your choice in University House, Room G12
Fridays at 7PM for University Challenge style sessions in Murray Learning Centre, Room UG07
