Canadian Law

2.1.1 To act as a representative body for Canadian law students within the university.

2.1.2. To support members’ academic and professional development through academic events, collaborations, speaker series, and mentorship from upperclassmen.

2.1.3. To provide a network with other students in law, alumni, and legal professions in Canada and the United Kingdom.

2.1.4 To assist members pursuing legal careers in Canada, including guidance on NCA accreditation, articling, and relevant bar admission processes.

2.1.5. To foster a strong social network and sense of belonging among CDLS members.

2.1.6. Provide a space for all UoB law students to contribute and learn about what it would be like to practice law in Canada or remain in the UK.

2.1.7. To develop members' practical legal skills, advocacy, legal writing, negotiations, and commercial awareness
