BakeSoc is for anyone who is interested in baking, whether you're a professional or have never baked a cake in your life - or somewhere in between.
Due to COVID, we are running Bake-along sessions over zoom, fortnightly on Wednesdays, starting at 5pm. The week before the bake, a list of ingredients, plus a link to the recipe will be posted on our Facebook page. Due to restrictions, please buy your own ingredients for the bakes, because we cannot provide them for you. This will also be the sign up area, so just pop your name in the comments to be added into the group for the zoom call. Here, we can give out the codes to access the call. We have a maximum of 80 people who can join.
Membership is £10, which supports the society in order to keep it going, as well as giving you a chance to get a baking goodie bag if you buy before Week 4. This will also mean if we are back in the Oasis Kitchen in the St Francis Hall Chaplaincy for second semester, members will not have to pay for the bakes. If you are not a member, in person bakes will be £2 each, but Bake-alongs will remain free for both.
If you have any questions, contact the comity on our Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter or our email.
