Fancy improving your core strength, flexibility, and inner peace, all while finding your new best friends? Then University of Birmingham Yoga Society is for you! All our classes are suitable for beginners, all led by with professional teachers from yoga studios around Birmingham. Our classes run four times a week:
Monday classes (4-5pm) are taught by Faye
Tuesday classes (5-6pm) by Hannah
Wednesday morning classes (10-11am) are taught by Karine,
Friday classes (4-5pm) by Sumita.
You will need to book your spot using app (UoBYoga in App Store and Google Play) prior to every class and pay for it at the door (we can only take cash). We have mats which you can hire at each class for £1. All money raised from mat rental will be donated to a charity chosen by you!
This year we will be running 4 1-hour classes per week, at only £4 for members! Buy membership for £4 from this website in order to get a discount for classes.
Tasters Classes run from 27th September to 8th October for 40 minutes and cost only £1! Check our social media pages for the full schedule and how to sign up x
This society is perfect for beginners wanting to give something new a go, as well as for those who are a little bit more experienced (the majority of the committee were beginners so don't worry at all if you've never tried it before)! We run loads of socials (brunches and pizza nights are a yoga staple), as well as taking part in both Societies Nights and Sports Nights with pres as a society. Practicing yoga will not only help improve your flexibility/strength but you'll have a chance to make friends and have fun too.
