Kids Adventure is a student-led charity that takes vulnerable and underpriviledged children, ages 7-11, from the local area on week-long, non-residential, action-packed activity breaks. We run a Christmas Party Day, one week at Easter and two separate weeks in Summer, during which time volunteers spend invaluable time with a group of disadvantaged children. We pick them up each morning to go on different activities which in the past have included: Warwick Castle, swimming, rock climbing, Drayton Manor and Dudley Zoo.
What makes Kids Adventure unique is that each child receives personal support through our one-on-one scheme where each volunteer is paired with a different child each day, meaning that they can have the very best support and positive encouragement.
Kids Adventure relies on honest, reliable volunteers. You need to have a good sense of fun, be able to get stuck in and not be too serious!

To ensure that you get what you need from us, when you need it, we have created a set of promises which we will always aim to deliver.
Every year, you elect fellow students to your Officer Team, who represent you and lead your union. Each Officer has their own roles and remit which you can view below. You have a chance to make sure your elected Officers are doing what they said they will, by attending Officer Question Time held each term.
