The University of Birmingham's Punjabi Society is a newly formed society which aims to promote Punjabi culture.
We want to inform our members about the rich history of the Punjab and raise awareness of the issues the Punjab is currently facing such as, farmer suicide, major drug and alcohol abuse, government etc. We aim to achieve this through educational talks.
We also want to create a platform for our members to meet other Punjabi people at the university through various social events however, we welcome anyone who is interested in learning more about Punjabi culture.
