Whether you're a Turkish student, have Turkish heritage, or are simply interested in the Turkish language or culture, you're more than welcome to join our club and be part of our community!
Our aim is to bring people together through language, culture, friendship, and shared experiences. Whether you want to practise your Turkish, explore different cultures, make new friends, or simply find your people on campus, there's something for everyone! Our regular Turkish Lunches & Dertleşme Günleri bring us together to share food, chat, exchange ideas, talk about life, and get to know one another in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We also organise Study Sessions to help students stay motivated and feel less isolated on our huge campus, alongside Academic Experience Sharing events where we can exchange insights and advice on university life, research, postgraduate study, and academic opportunities.
Beyond our regular meet-ups, there's plenty more to enjoy! Join us for Movie Nights to discover various genres, or put your knowledge to the test at our Quiz Nights. Our World Cuisine Tasting Days offer a chance to explore flavours from different cultures, share culinary traditions, and discover something new. During Ramadan, we also come together for Ramadan Iftar Gatherings, sharing meals, celebrating the spirit of togetherness, and welcoming everyone who would like to experience this special tradition. If you're looking to get active and meet people on the pitch, you can also join our weekly 7-a-side football games, where everyone can enjoy some friendly competition. And, of course, our Termly Gatherings give us an opportunity to bring the wider community together and make even more lasting memories.
