Bulky waste items are any items that cannot be disposed of with the general rubbish collection e.g. a sofa or a bed. Birmingham City Council will collect up to six items. Collections cost £23 if you book online, or £25 if you book over the phone

THINK! Before arranging a bulky waste collection can the item be reused? If so then consider putting it on a freecycling website such as ilovefreegle.org or freecycle.org. You could even take it to a local charity shop!
