Student Staff – Technical Services Assistant

Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour, plus holiday pay

To work as part of the Technical Services team to provide a professional standard of technical support and customer service for a variety of Guild events. This includes providing technical event production (sound and lighting) for Guild events including club nights, live music and large-scale events such as Guild Awards and Grad Ball.

This role offers you a range of opportunities to gain skills and experience including (not exclusively):

• Technical event production
• Customer service skills
• Problem solving
• Working as part of a team

Availability: You must be available during Welcome Week 2026

Please note that this position is only available to students studying at the University of Birmingham who will be a registered student until at least July 2026.
