Student Staff – Community Ambassador

Rate of Pay: £12.91 per hour, plus holiday pay

We are recruiting for Community Ambassadors to work as part-time student staff. The Community Ambassadors are a peer-to-peer support team, providing advice and guidance for students living in the community (primarily in the Bournbrook area of Selly Oak). We work proactively towards building a safer, more connected community for all. Fostering good relationships between student and non-student residents.

To be successful in your application, you must be an active UoB student for the duration of the 2026/27 academic year, and available for in person training at the Guild on 14^th, 15^th and 16^th September 2026.

During term time (including Welcome Week, assessment weeks and enrichment weeks) you will be expected to work a minimum of 4 hours per week. Community Ambassadors are required to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Closing date for applications: Monday 9^th March 2026, 9am.
