Sober Socials is a society at University of Birmingham, established in October 2016, for those who don’t need alcohol to have fun. It is a group for people who would like to meet like-minded individuals, meet up and have some fun. Our regular events will be anything from movie nights to games nights. We will also be doing some less regular but more exciting events such as go-karting, water fights, and laser tag. We welcome every type of person from any background who wants to have fun without getting drunk. We are a group of positive and kind people, who enjoy each others company.
Membership is £3 for the year.
We have weekly meetings on Fridays from 7 pm. Usually held in the Melt on the Vale, but if you are not part of our Facebook group then drop us an email.
We have some exciting new plans for the year to come and we want to share it with you! Come and join our little family. I guarantee that you will have fun with us! ;)
To ensure that you get what you need from us, when you need it, we have created a set of promises which we will always aim to deliver.
Every year, a team of Officers are elected by YOU to help you get the best out of Birmingham. Each officer leads a different part of the Union on your behalf – click on their faces below to find out what they do and how to get in touch…
