£1000 Prize Draw Offer Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

To qualify for this offer, you must:

  • Be a current registered student at the University of Birmingham.
  • Participate in the Officer Elections 2026 by casting a vote at any point during the voting period (Monday 9 March at 10am - Friday 13 March at 4pm)

Offer Details

Eligible students will be entered into a prize draw to receive a £1000 prize via bank transfer.

Availability

  • One prize of £1000 will be available under this offer.
  • The prize winner will be picked randomly from the list of students who have voted in the Officer Elections.

Redemption and Validity

  • To redeem the offer, the winning student will be contacted by email before 3rd April and must respond to the Guild by the 27th April.
  • The offer can only be claimed before the date above.

Graduation Ball Priority Pass & Discount Offer Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

To qualify for this offer, you must:

  • Be a current registered student at the University of Birmingham, in the final year of your course.
  • Participate in the Officer Elections 2026 by casting a vote at any point during the voting period (Monday 9 March at 10am - Friday 13 March at 4pm)

Offer Details

Eligible students will have the chance to purchase a Graduation Ball Ticket prior to general release; the cost of this ticket will include a discount of £10 on the retail price. Please note that tickets within the priority pass window are strictly limited and are only available on a first come first served basis.

Availability

  • A total of 500 discounted tickets will be available under this offer.
  • These discounted tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
  • Each eligible student may only purchase one discounted ticket.

Redemption and Validity

  • Discounted tickets are expected to go on sale on 5th May 2026 for a limited period. However, the Guild reserves the right to change this date.
  • All attendees to the Graduation Ball must be over the age of 18 and will be required to display their ID upon entry to the event.

Pizza Day Offer Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

To qualify for this offer, you must:

  • Be a current registered student at the University of Birmingham.
  • Participate in the Officer Elections 2026 by casting a vote prior to 4pm on Tuesday 10th March 2026

Offer Details

Eligible students will be able to receive a free pizza (or wheat-free alternative) between 11am and 4pm on Tuesday 10th March 2026, from Mermaid Square, University of Birmingham Guild of Students.

Availability

  • A total of 1000 mini margherita pizzas will be available under this offer.
  • This offer will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
  • Each eligible student may only redeem one free mini pizza.
  • This includes vegan and wheat-free alternatives, subject to availability.

Redemption and Validity

  • To redeem the offer, students who’ve voted must present their student ID card, which will be scanned in order to verify that a valid vote has been cast in the Officer Elections 2026.

  • Allergen and preparation information will be available on the day of the event. If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please speak directly with the supplier on the day so they can assist you.

Sports Night Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

To qualify for this offer, you must:

  • Be a current registered student at the University of Birmingham.
  • Attend Sports Night on Wednesday 11th March 2026, at the Guild of Students
  • Participate in the Officer Elections 2026 by casting a vote prior to 1:30am on Thursday 12th March 2026.

Offer Details

Eligible students will be able to receive a free bottle of VK (or a pint of draught soft drink) between 11pm on Wednesday 11th March until 1:30am on Thursday 12th March 2026, from Mermaid Square, University of Birmingham Guild of Students.

Availability

  • A total of 2200 bottles of VK will be available under this offer.
  • This offer will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
  • Each eligible student may only redeem one free drink.
  • No alternatives or substitutions will be offered, outside of those listed above.

Redemption and Validity

  • To redeem the offer, students who’ve voted must present their student ID card, which will be scanned in order to verify that a valid vote has been cast in the Officer Elections 2026.
  • Successful voters must be over the age of 18 to attend and will be required to display their ID upon entry to Sports Night.
  • This offer can only be claimed during the times and date above.

Student Group Free or Discounted Membership Offer Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

To qualify for this offer, you must:

  • Be a current member of a Guild-affiliated student group.
  • Participate in the Officer Elections 2026 by casting a vote at any point during the voting period (Monday 9 March at 10am - Friday 13 March at 4pm)
  • Be a current registered student at the University of Birmingham and not in the Final Year of your current course when the free/discounted memberships go on sale

Offer Details

Eligible students will be able to purchase one of the following for the 2026/27 Academic Year:

  • A free standard membership (up to the value of £10) to a Guild-affiliated student group.
  • A standard membership discounted by £10 to a Guild-affiliated student group whose membership is over the value of £10.

Availability

  • A total of 500 memberships will be available under this offer.
  • These memberships will be available on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Each eligible student may only redeem one free or discounted membership

Redemption and Validity

  • Free or discounted memberships are expected to go on sale on 1st June 2026 for a limited period. However, the Guild reserves the right to change this date.
  • The membership granted under this offer will be valid until 31st July 2027 or until the membership holder ceases to be a registered student at the University of Birmingham, whichever occurs first.

Eligibility

Halls Pizza Party Offer Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

To qualify for this offer, you must:

  • Be a current registered student at the University of Birmingham.
  • Be a resident in an eligible accommodation site at the time of voting.
  • Be a resident in the accommodation site that achieves the highest percentage voter  turnout in the Officer Elections 2026.

Offer Details

University of Birmingham Students who live in the eligible accommodation site that achieves the highest percentage voter turnout in the Officer Elections 2026 will be able to access a Pizza Party in Term 3 of the 2025/26 academic year.

Availability

  • A Pizza Party will be hosted by the Guild during Term 3 of the 2025/26 academic year.
  • Attendees will receive free pizza during the event, subject to availability
