Reclaim the Night is an annual march to protest violence against women. Following a torchlit march across campus, a rally will be held in Mermaid Square for speakers and activists to speak out about fighting gender-based violence on campus. The event is on 25th November, marking the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
The march starts at 6pm at Faraday Statue by University train station, with speeches from 7pm-8pm in Mermaid Square, Guild of Students. Afterwards there is a space booked in Joes Bar for attendees to connect and network.
We look forward to joining you in the fight against Violence against Women and Girls!
