As part of our push to decolonise the University of Birmingham, we are hosting a discussion panel on “anti-racist education” taking place on 25th March at 3pm. This discussion is intended to explore the concepts of decolonisation and anti-racist education in university and school settings, discovering what these terms mean and how you can employ them in your own research and teaching practices.

This event is open to anyone who is interested, but we believe it will be of particular use to those who are interested in teaching (primary or secondary school) or academia (masters, PhD, or lecturing).

Panel members include academics from the School of Education and Birmingham Law School, who will be providing their unique perspectives on this topic.

The discussion panel will take place over Zoom and an invite will be sent personally to your email address on the day of the event.
