Our Open Iftar is back this year!
Bringing together the College and Medical & Health Science communities for an evening centred on knowledge, togetherness, and reflection 🤍
The programme will feature a speech from the Deen and a guest speaker, alongside an exhibition showcasing Islamic contributions to medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy 🩺💊🦷. Explore displays of historic manuscripts and take part in interactive elements designed to bring this rich heritage to life 📜✨
At Maghrib, we’ll come together to break our fast. On the menu: chicken biryani, chickpea pilau, samosas, and kebabs 🍽️🌙
While the main event is tailored to students part of the college of medical and health sciences, the exhibition (4-5 | 7-8pm) and bake sale (7-8pm) are open to all university students, so please come down if you’re interested in learning more and making a postive impact.
This year’s bake sale is in collaboration with DoR, fundraising to build an oxygen plant in Merowe, Sudan, providing oxygen to medical facilities across the province and significantly improving patient care

Tickets will be released in batches..,
- First batch: Thursday 26th Februrary 4pm (wolfson gold tickets)
- Second batch: Monday 2nd March 4pm (med caf silver tickets)
