All day teaching event ran by SurgSoc at the Gordon Pathology Museum in London. Teaching is facilitated by Surgeons and the SurgSoc Anatomy team. The pathology museum has some amazing specimens which we will use to facilitate the teaching throughout the day. Initially, some of the surgeons will deliver some short lecture based teaching before we spit off into small groups. Each surgeon will take a small group and facilitate teaching around areas of anatomy and pathology related to their area of expertise. There will be some time at the end of the day for students to look around the museum themselves
The day is targeted mainly at pre-clinical medical students but is open to all medical students an can be an excellent anatomy refresher for those in their clinical years too. Transport to and from the museum will be provided by SurgSoc and is included in the ticket price; we will be travelling by coach to and from the museum.
