A trip to the National Space Centre in Leicester, co-hosted by the Astronomical Society and oSTEM. Join us for a full-day trip to Leicester to explore the National Space Centre's astronomy, astrophysics, and spaceflight exhibits, including a visit to the UK's largest planetarium.
We will be departing from the North Gate at 9:00 am on Saturday 14th of March. The coach journey is estimated to be about 1 hour and 15 minutes. We will depart the Space Centre at 3:00 pm and return to campus before 4:30 pm. In total, you should have around 4-5 hours to explore the museum's exhibits. A full itinerary will be available soon.
Whilst lunch is not provided as part of this trip, the National Space Centre does host the Boosters Cafe, where you can purchase and/or eat food.
Tickets will cost £35 for members of AstroSoc or oSTEM, and £40 for non-members. Included with this ticket is coach hire to and from the National Space Centre, full access to the National Space Centre's Galleries and exhibits, and the option to attend a planetarium show during your visit.
