Fancy improving your strength, flexibility and musicality in a fun and challenging way? Come along and try Pole Fitness!
Taught by our instructors, learn some new and impressive moves on the pole and find out more about what our society has to offer from our committee members. No experience of pole, dance or base level strength is required- our session will start from the basic spins and kicks that you can turn into a routine as the weeks go by.
Our taster sessions are running in the Debate Hall on the following dates:
27/09- 12:00-13:00, 13:00-14:00, 14:00-15:00, 15:00-16:00
4/10- 12:00-13:00, 13:00-14:00, 14:00-15:00, 15:00-16:00
11/10- 12:00-13:00, 13:00-14:00
As our classes can get very busy and numbers are limited, please pre-book a session on our online booking form that will be posted on the UoB Pole Fitness Facebook page during welcome week in order to secure a place.
We recommend wearing clothing that allows easy movement in classes and arms & legs should be uncovered for grip. Do not moisturise/fake tan 24 hours before attending a pole class as this makes the poles slippy!
