All are welcome to the first social for the official University of Birmingham Tea Society (TeaSoc).
No membership is required so no need to worry if you just want to pop in and try it out!!
What better way to end your week than endless tea, limitless biscuits, comfy sofas and the best company the university has to offer? Bring your friends along or meet new and interesting people from all walks of life.
Drop by for a quick 5-minute brew or stay for the full 2 hours. There are always interesting conversations and discussions going on each week between our members which you can join in with, or just read the paper or a book with a nice cuppa if that's what you prefer! No matter who you are, TeaSoc is for everyone and we're sure you will fit right in.
We host regular Social Meet-Ups every Friday, 1-3 PM in Beorma Bar, Guild of Students so if you enjoy it we would love to see you again - if so we would ask for membership. Membership is just £4 for unlimited tea and biscuits every Friday for a whole year which is the same price as just one or two cups elsewhere. So grab a brew and wind down after a busy week.
DIRECTIONS:
- Find the reception desk
- Walk around behind it, through the doors and walk up the stairs to the floor above
- Turn left, then follow the corridor around to the right past the Amos room.
- Beorma Bar will be on your left - there should be a sign on the door and golden treasure inside (Yorkshire Gold :D)
