From time to time Guild of Students outlets may offer special offers, vouchers or discounts on their menus, food and/or drinks. Below you will find the relevant terms and conditions for each offer. Terms and conditions outline our relationship with you as the user of the service and the Guild as the service provider. Please read them carefully. Guild and Joe's Bar Food and drink offers are not valid on UK bank holidays. .
Free Soft Drink with Selected Meals Offer
Prices and Options: This offer entitles the guest to a complimentary soft drink when they purchase a qualifying main meal.
Qualifying products (denoted on the menu by ‘*Free Soft Drink’), are main meals from the following menu sections: Bagels, Burgers, Pizzas, Mac ’n’ Cheese, Salads and Bowls, Spice Bags and Nuggets.
If a qualifying product is purchased the guest is entitled to a complimentary pint of Cola, Diet Cola, Lemonade or Cordial with water/soda from the post-mix soda system. (Bottles are not included, takeout glasses are available).
The guest can choose to upgrade their promotional drink to one of the products listed, for an additional £1.50. Upgrade options: a pint of Coors, a pint of Thatcher’s, a Starbucks tall Latte, a tall Cappuccino, a tall Americano or a tall Tea.
All products are subject to availability each day. There will be no other substitutions or alternatives offered. It is recommended that you redeem this offer as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Offer availability: ‘Available all day, everyday’ from Monday 15 September 2025 until Friday 12 December 2025. Offer available during regular kitchen opening hours: 12:00pm to 9:00pm, Monday-Saturday and 12:00pm to 8:00pm on Sundays, during term time. Not available on Bank holidays, open days or out of university term time.
This offer is subject to ‘on the day’ changes. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer and no further discounts or other promotional codes can be applied to this offer.
Ordering process: Orders must be made at the bar and the offer requested at time of ordering. You will be asked to vacate your seats at closing time so please therefore ensure you place your order at least 30 minutes before 9:00pm.
Takeaway: Takeaway is available on the ‘Free Soft Drink with Selected Meals’ offer. Takeout food containers are charged separately in line with our sustainability policy.
Cancellation of offer: We reserve the right to remove or amend the offer at any time. Service is at the manager’s discretion, and we reserve the right to decline an order without reason. Proof of age will be required for the purchase of alcoholic products.
Exceptions and exclusions: Any additional menu items or drinks will be charged for separate to the offer at the bar. No desserts, sides or additional drinks are included in the ‘Free Soft Drink with Selected Meals’ offer. No other food products from our usual menus are included in this offer.
Allergies: Please alert us to any allergies at time of ordering.
Offer revisions or cancellation: This offer may be removed at any time without warning or notice. It may also be extended or revised under which circumstances information will be published on the Guild of Students website and other Guild of Students channels where appropriate.
Refunds: No refunds will be issued under any circumstance once the transaction is completed. This offer is non-transferable. No cash alternative or discount available.
It is assumed that by purchasing the ‘Free Soft Drinks with Selected Meals’ offer, you understand these terms and conditions and agree to adhere to them.

Student Groups and Societies Offers
Offers, prices and options
25% Off Pizzas: This offer entitles the guest to 25% off the following pizzas in 12” and mini: Margherita, Vegan Margherita, Vegan Supreme, Veggie Supreme, Hot Honey Chicken, Double Pepperoni and Spicy Beef. Also included within this offer is the 12” Gluten Free Margherita pizza.
When purchasing an individual pizza, the guest is entitled to a free print of post-mix soda, limited to the following options: Cola, Diet Cola, Lemonade or Blackcurrant/Lime Cordial with soda/water.
When multiple pizzas are ordered these will be served as pitchers.
On takeaway orders, every 4 pizzas will receive a 2-litre bottle of Schweppes lemonade.
Drinks included are fixed and no substitutions are available. Alcoholic drinks are not available through this system.
Sharer Spice Box: This offer entitles the guest to Sharer Spice Box for £16. Qualifying products include a 20-chicken nugget or 20 veggie nugget Sharer Spice Box.
The Sharer Spice Box will be served with 2 x 2-litre post-mix soda pitchers, limited to the following options: Cola, Diet Cola, Lemonade or Blackcurrant/Lime Cordial with soda/water.
For takeaway orders, a 2-litre bottle of Schweppes will be provided.

Fries Box: This offer entitles the guest to a Fries Box for £8; this includes a 12” pizza box filled with house fries, drizzled with chipotle mayo and ketchup. Guests can choose to upgrade to curly fries for an additional £1.
The Fries Box will be served with 2 x 2-litre post-mix soda pitchers limited to the following options: Cola, Diet Cola, Lemonade or Blackcurrant/Lime Cordial with soda/water.
For takeaway orders, a 2-litre bottle of Schweppes lemonade will be provided.

This offer is only available to Guild of Students recognised student groups with sufficient funds in their Guild group account.
Payment
All purchases must be made via IDT transfer directly from the group account. No alternative payment methods are accepted.
Ordering process and Booking Requirements
All food orders must be pre-booked, with orders placed at least 3 working days in advance. A Student Group Coordinator must authorise all orders.

When contacting us, please provide the following details:
- Your student group name
- Requested date and time of booking (and service time if different)
- Whether the booking is for eat-in or takeaway
An enquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking. Bookings cannot be guaranteed at peak times or if the requested date / time coincides with pre-existing events.
