Student Staff Role – Photographers and Videographers (Communications & Marketing)

Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour, plus holiday pay

Would you like to join our Communications and Marketing team and help us document what life at the University is really like? We have the perfect opportunity for you.

We’re looking for a team of Student Photographers and Videographers to showcase our various events and activities that take place throughout the year, including Welcome Week, Club Nights, Fairs and more.

This role offers you a range of opportunities to gain skills and experience including (not exclusively):

• Assisting with large events and documenting University life, through photography / videography or through social media content creation, as required
• Working to briefs and turning around content in a timely fashion
• Editing images and video footage
• Liaising with the Communications & Marketing Team

Please note that this position is only available to students studying at the University of Birmingham.

There are no set hours as we’ll ask you to document events based on our annual calendar including evening and nighttime shifts taking place outside of standard working hours.

Events you might be asked to cover include Guild Awards, Officer Elections Results Night, events in accommodation or the local community and more.
