The University of Birmingham Graphic Design Society is a student-led creative community for anyone who wants to turn ideas and emotions into visuals, whether a complete beginner or an experienced designer. We aim to run accessible workshops on design software, typography, branding, and illustration, alongside portfolio support, relaxed sketch and zine sessions, and trips to galleries and cultural spaces. The end goal is to channel Bob Ross, and keep design human, collaborative, and fun, giving students from all disciplines a space to learn, experiment, and realise, that in art, "we don't make mistakes, we have happy accidents".
