Tolkien Society

Tolkien Soc is a social society for anyone who is a fan of the High Fantasy genre, particularly the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Whether you've only seen The Fellowship of the Ring or you've memorised The Silmarillion, or are a fan of the works of C.S. Lewis or George R.R. Martin, we'd love for you to join us! 

We meet weekly during term time on Mondays from 7pm and our events include film viewings of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, quizzes, games nights, presentation nights, fantasy worlds MUN, and our traditional staff duelling competition!

We also meet on Saturdays for a range of other activities. Some weeks we will host Dungeons & Dragons nights from 7pm, open to all levels of experience. Other weeks may include Tolkien-themed hiking trips (e.g. Malvern Hills), walking the Tolkien trail, and more.
