Trains and buses are often delayed and cancelled, leaving no reliable public transport services. This especially impacts commuters, who struggle to simply attend classes - they frequently lose large chunks of time to transport issues, and it has a huge negative effect on wellbeing.
I would like to see the Guild lobby local elected government to increase investments in the public transport sector, as well as tighten regulations to put pressure on transport providers to avoid cancellations in all but true emergency situations.
I have contacted the Guild regarding this issue, and been told that you are already working on this. What exactly is being done, and what are your plans for the future to achieve this?
