    The Guild recognises the rise of and believes in active opposition to racism at the University and in the wider community. The Guild will support anti-racist campaigns and activity (within the limits of UK law). The Guild should use its resources to support student groups and student led campaigns in this area, through educational and financial support where relevant.

    Policy

    This was part of a historic guild belief called Anti Racism and Anti Facism. The working group decided to split these ideas. Anti Facism went to ASV in summer 2024 and passed. However the Anti Racism idea did not pass at ASV in October 2024 so I am resumbitting it
