Sri Lankan Society

This Student Group is on the Save A Society scheme - to save it, please contact studentgroups@guild.bham.ac.uk with a list of the three committee members who would like to run the group.

As a society, we aim to be a 'home away from home' to Sri Lankan international students and to share Sri Lankan culture, music and food to all university students. We want to create an inclusive space to meet like-minded individuals, participate in sporting events, and celebrate cultural and religious festivals. 

We've got lots of exciting events planned this year, such as social events with Sri Lankan food and baila and for those of you interested in sport, UoB Sri Lankan Soc will be participating in the annual Warwick cricket tournament. We're also working on organising our own annual event, so be sure to join if you don't want to miss out!
