Our Student Reps are at the heart of everything we do, so we want to hear your feedback, comments and suggestions. You can do this by emailing the Student Reps Team.

Your feedback and ideas help us to improve the Rep System. Based on previous feedback we have already made the following improvements:

Academic Engagement Fund

The Academic Engagement Fund is a small pot of money, from which Student Reps can each bid for up to £150. Based on your feedback, we’ve simplified the process of applying for this, so you can easily get funding in place ahead of your event.

This funding could be used i.e. to support the running of an event or even as an incentive to complete a survey. The idea of the fund is to encourage student engagement, particularly from those in the cohort that don’t normally engage.

Complaints and Misconduct Process

We work hard to ensure that our Reps are fully trained so you can successfully carry out your roles. However, we understand that there are times where things don’t go according to plan.

To support with complaints in the Rep System, we have devised a new misconduct procedure and code of practise (below) to ensure that the expectations from all reps remain the same.

Students and Reps can submit a complaint either about a particular Rep or the system as a whole by filling out the complaints form, who will work with you to find a solution or begin the misconduct process, as appropriate.
