As a Student or Postgraduate Researcher (PGR) Rep, you’re one of over 1,000 Reps on campus representing the academic interests of students to the Guild and the University.

Who Can I Ask For Help?

The Guild has a team dedicated to making sure Reps have the support they need. Contact us at studentreps@guild.bham.ac.uk or visit the Student Voice Office on the Ground Floor of the Guild. Whether you need help, or have done something great, get in touch.

Is There Training Available?

Yes! You will have completed a Canvas introduction to your role and your Student Experience Officer or equivalent will be arranging a local induction to your Student Staff Forum.

We will also be running a whole series of skills and development masterclasses for you throughout the year. Keep an eye on your emails for more details.

Rep Journal

It is important that Student and PGR Reps at all levels feed back to the Guild as well as the University. This is because your feedback helps us to identify college-wide and university-wide trends and themes that your Guild Officers can raise with the University. These online journals also enable us to share your successes and impacts with the student body.
