from £8.07 Plus potential bonuses

Hours

0.00 - 16.00 Ad-hoc (depending on bookings). You must be flexible, willing to work evenings, weekends, and overnight stays. The amount of hours you get to work each week/month will vary greatly depending on the bookings we get.

Sport 4 Life UK run the social enterprise initiative Smoothie Bike Hire – a hire service renting innovative bike blenders to corporate, community and school events. We are looking for a team of sessional “Events Instructors” to take our bike blenders to events, to look after and manage our stands, to liaise with customers, and to ensure our service provided is fun, innovative and exciting. JOB SPECIFICATION

You will travel to events up and down the country providing our Smoothie Bike service for corporate, community and school customers. Your duties will include (i) prepare all relevant equipment and consumables prior to event; (ii) travel in Sport 4 Life’s vehicle with all of the equipment to the event location; (iii) set up the stand; (iv) interact with clients, helping them to use the smoothie bike and make their own smoothies; (v) provide simple lessons and advice on healthy eating and importance of exercise; (vi) travel back to Birmingham; and (vii) unload and clean/wash equipment.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

You are a people person, with a strong focus on and enjoyment of customer care and interacting with clients. You are confident, friendly, polite, and engaging. You are committed, reliable, punctual and organised. You are happy to work independently. You are confident at public speaking and at interacting with clients and customers. You are passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and healthy eating.

Transport - You MUST have a valid UK driving licence. Preferably your licence should be clean.

Training - You will be given on the job training, and will be asked to complete a Food Hygiene Certificate
