UoB Comics

2.1.1 To cultivate an appreciation and love for comic books, graphic novels and other media related to comics.

2.1.2 To create a collaborative space where all students can discuss narrative theory and explore visual storytelling.

2.1.3 A fun, social and welcoming space for superhero and comics fans to share common interests freely and creatively, through building a community.

2.1.4 To collaborate with other societies such as nerdsoc, film society and comics societies from other universities to celebrate and bring together comic book fans from everywhere.

2.1.5 To bring weekly events such as discussions on DC/Marvel, art workshops, movie screenings of live actions, speaker events and socials on the topic of comic-related media, as well as cosplay nights,

2.1.6 To promote a space for comics as an art form and encourage creative expression through activities like drawing workshops and creating your own characters.
