Important information

2.1.1 Tackle food poverty amongst students by providing healthy, vegan meals cooked by a group of student volunteers, once a week.

 

2.1.2 Recognising that food poverty is the result of systemic inequality so we will provide a space for students to be empowered to discuss issues such as poverty, climate change, oppression and inequality, colonialism, the future of higher education.

 

2.1.3 To host events including cultural food with other societies, guest speakers and workshops relating to the above issues, which attendees of the group can participate in, if desired – these will coincide with the meals, as people are eating and discussing.
