Blood Donation Society is a newly formed student group looking to unite blood donors at the university aswell as recruit new donors into the community. Our primary aim is to invite students to become donors and offer support and information about the donation process. Throughout the year we organise events with NHS Blood and Transplant who can offer information, register new donors and book appointments for anyone interested.

We recently ran a What's Your Blood Type event where people could find out their blood type in five minutes! We also run a Buddy Scheme for members where first-time donors can attend a donation session with an experience donors from the society. We are currently in the process of organising group donation sessions at Birmingham Donor Centre in the city centre. 

This society is free to join and welcomes all donors, both pre-existing and new.
