Who are we?

Watch This is one of the ten societies that make up the group we call Guild Drama!
We are the society of improv and original theatre and have our very own improv Troupe who go to Edinburgh Fringe each summer.
 

What do we do?
Watch This put on a variety of productions written by students at UoB. These include full-length original plays, 48 Hours (fun parodies of popular films, rehearsed and performed over a weekend), Improvabungas (improvised movie-musical adventures from our Troupe), and the Next Stage (our termly showcase of short plays written, directed and performed by students, where everyone who auditions gets a part).

If you're looking for something fun but lower commitment, we also run weekly improv workshops! 4-6 is the weekly drama games/improv workshop hosted by our amazing troupe leaders, Sultan and James! 
4-6 takes place every Wednesday from (you guessed it), 4PM to 6PM, with a 15-minute break after the first hour. 
 

But why should you get involved?
Great question. Guild Drama is a great way to meet new people from different years and courses while doing something you love- theatre!
Watch This is a great place to start because our events range in commitment. You can show up every week to 4-6, or once and never again; do a 48-Hour in a single weekend, or jump into the deep end with one of our original plays! There's something for everyone, no matter how busy your course is.
