Whisk(e)y Society

2.1 The objectives of the group shall be:

2.1.1 To provide a welcoming and friendly student group through a shared appreciation of whisk(e)y.

2.1.2 To educate society members on whisk(e)y through designed talks and tastings; regarding grain types, tasting technique, barrel types, region, production methods, distilleries and bespoke vocabulary.

2.1.3 To instil a culture of safe drinking as a foundation of whisk(e)y enjoyment.

2.1.4 To generate opportunities for members to meet, discuss and make friends at organised social events and collaborations with other societies.
